Being that Eddy never has pictures taken of him, this is going to probably be the most bland "Sunday Spotlights" ever. Eddy seems to have no time to ask for his picture to be taken or to be filmed, he is mostly to busy killing it. Some things you will notice upon meeting/skating with him (you rarely have one without the other you'll always meet him skateing.) is that he is'nt in to all the limited edition bs yet he still stays fresher than a newborn and learns faster than Einstien. SUNDAY SPOTLIGHTS
If you skate in Southern Oregon then youve probably seen this gnarly little dood shreding one of your local parks at one time or another. While watching bean skate you feel an insane amount of fear for yourself and cant help but think how could someone so creepy shred so hard. Bean takes it back to good old days when the gnarly looking doods were the ones killing the parks as opposed to the Pac-Sun attire wearing doods that over populate todays skateparks now a days. And if you dont believe me watch his "Purr-Suit" part that he filmed in under two weeks.

What is a typical day in a life with you like? get up take a piss,eat,go skateboarding,sleep and then do it again.
What trick took you the longest to land in the Purr-Suit? I think front smith revert the chimney pocket cuz it was so wet and cold.
So whats skating in talent like? It can be fun but there is a big bmx problem,all the bikers think they own the skatepark so it can get hectic at times.

WHYIAMHAPPY/TIMSTICKROD...
I know I can’t speak for everybody. But for the majority of us the very simple reason that we are happy is Jesus. God gave us skateboarding for a reason. Fun, when we have fun we are glorifying god. Philippians 4:4 says “Rejoice in the lord always, Again I say rejoice.” This is something that we try to portray every time we step on a skateboard and every time we speak. Though we are not perfect (nobody is), we can try to live out our lives in a way that follows the path that Jesus has set before us. The happy is not an exclusive club, it is not a crew, it is just a bunch of skate nerds who want to have fun. I don’t think that we have anything to prove and if we did we already ruined it. So we will continue to do what we do, if you like it, come skate and be happy. If you don’t, that’s alright.

For a wile now we have been talking about how it looks like erik is carrying around a briefcase when he skates. It was all a light hearted joke untill upon reading and double E interview that i found out that EE has "The Briefcase" tatooed on his leg!!! So in all reality he is carrying a

Antwuan grew up in Victorville, Furby grew up in The Dirty. They both skate for Krew, Supra, and BAKER (deathwish). They also have both had brief stints in jail. So if you frequent the media page then you might have noticed the last montage "Epicly Montaged" and saw the ending....
Shawn totally kills it with some of the oddest skating seen in any of our montages yet. Not to mention if you have'nt seen his Purr-Suit part he gets incredibly tech and has some of the finer moments of the video....
So today I am proud to present the first of many SundaySpotlight Interviews to follow up the "Purr-Suit Of Happy-Ness" to go to Shawn Hanning. Now let me be the first to say it but talking on the phone with Shawn is just as awkward as some of the spots he skates. So bear with me...
What is your full name?
Shawn Michael Hanning
Do you like Shawn Michaels?
Yeah.
Were you named after him?
No.
So what was some inspiration you had for your video part?
The kitties, and yeah...pretty much yeah, oh and friends and people willing ness to film my stuff.
What type of spots do you like to skate?
Uhhh. boxes. uhhh, small awkward, uhhh manual pads...yep.
Describe a typical day.
Uhh ok, wake up next to the kitty then I take a shower, and then maybe watch a video part of Stephan or Hsu , the usually do school work then take a break and skate for an hour on the weekdays, yep, then i have to go to work.
Ok, what was the hardest trick you did in the purr suit?
Probably, the hardest trick would have to be, I don’t know, not a whole lot.
So none of the tricks were hard?
umm not really not that i can thing of, wait probably the kickflip back smith.
Aside from your part whose was you favorite?
Oooh, uhhh, I don’t know probably i like Tim’s part a lot, and umm Gordon’s part, and eddy’s part too.
What would change about the video?
Umm, I would like to redo allot of the tricks that i did cause allot of them were kind of sketchy.
In five years do you see yourself still skating?
Yeah defiantly?
So what’s living with Billy like?
Uhh, I don’t know, awkward, but cool, then i got someone that can film and i can share stuff with.

What are goals in skateboarding?
My goals, uhhh to get more tech, more technical yah know, stuff like manuals and grinders, and get better at the stairs, and tranny too.

Umum, yeah. like uhhh what was the last trick you did or something?
Ok what was it?
uhhh I cant remember late back foot hardflip or triple kickflip, we left Medford Skate Park yesterday and umm I did a triple flip out of the exit going out.

January 30, 2009- Transworld is coming out with a new video.
This video is gonna have one of the most diverse line-ups seen in awhile. With the likes ofKellen James, Joey Brezinski, Matt Beach, Bobby Worrest, and Corey Duffel you really cant know what type of tricks they are going to inspire eachother to do. Transworld always seems to make things hard for themselves when making videos, but they always pull it off (if you havent seen "And Now" I suggest that you head over to skatevideosonline.net and watch). I am looking forward to Joey Brezinski's part the most, Joey seriously kills it in such a way that all skate nerds alike can truly appriciate. Check this footage for instance.
On the other hand Corey Duffel might be a different story.
I wonder what sky scraper he is going to find to 180 in this video....

Luckily now that I live in california I meet people. Make Connections. So I was able to obtain a leak from maker of "Right Foot Forward" co-filmer/editor Jon Holland of such a trick.

So i have some boss ass stuff to talk about that will be hapening these next couple weeks. First of all i wanted to annouce the realease date of the new happyskate video which will be on December 25th! So for all of those who are avid readers stay posted for that via this website or our infamously hated youtube account "oregonskillers" which can be acessed by click on the "media" link on the navigation tab to the left. Second is the moving of chief editor of happyskate Gordon Casey (Me) to L.A., California on December 28th, 2008. So you can expect some new skaters to be featured on the site starting early next year. Last is some new features of the website such as now you can make comments on each post by scrolling to the bottom of the page, so for pete sake people start talking trash or sending some encouragement to our fair happy.
